FICMEC, environmental film in Garachico
The International Environmental Film Festival will be at the forefront again this week in Garachico.

FICMEC returns to Garachico. The 19th edition began with the 2017 Brote Awards being given to WWF for Environmental Activism, Antonio Liébana for Photography, Javier Gregori for Journalism, and El Anatsui for Art. Cinema, workshops and conferences until 4 June.
Tenerife hosted the first European ecology festival. In its new format and location, the Canary Islands International Environmental Film Festival is being solidified as an international benchmark event.
