The painter Antonio López gives a realism workshop in Almería
Upon entering room fourteen, we discover a huge paint workshop where colour and bustle merge as one. On one side, we find the teacher talking with one of his pupils.
Pumpkins, watermelons, onions and oranges are all depicted in the different stills in the room that each painter creates on their canvas with their own personal stamp, just like the model.
No-one is new to it, and you can tell, almost one hundred applications were received from all over the world and only 36 were able participate in the workshop in which, for a fill week, the artists will paint day and night to exhibit their work at the end.
In the mean time, they chat together about the chaos of contemporary art, vanishing points and their own personal matters, because they all relate to each other.
