'Caring Locks' to lift their spirits

A group of secondary school students organised an event to donate hair that will be made into wigs.
Increasingly, Catalan hair dressers are collecting locks of hair. The hair is then sent to organisations like `Mechones Solidarios¿ who gift it to low-income girls and women who are suffering from cancer. Natural wigs cost about 2,000 euros.
In difficult times, the new look can help many women to maintain optimism and keep a smile on their face.
