The Equisur Fair opens in Jerez
Today sees the start of Equisur in Jerez de la Frontera. The horse fair, which includes its prestigious Morphological Competition now in its fiftieth year, has more than two hundred horses taking part in this edition.

Although Equisur is a young fair, this is its twenty-sixth edition, the morphological competition of horse breeds that led to the fair is already half a century year old and has become an unmissable event for breeders throughout Spain. As well they know at the Domecq Rivero stud farm, winner of the Male and Female Hispanic Arab Pure Breed and Best Farm awards. The stud enclosure and the fair ground in Jerez will also host horse training championships and exhibitions, shows, technical seminars, a shopping area and other activities from now until Saturday. More than two hundred of the best horses of different breeds are on show from today at Equisur.
