The Extremaduran Platform Men Against Gender-Based Violence is born with a non-profit, community-focused purpose, which is to fight against gender-based violence, according to its founders, and work together for a more egalitarian world.

Its coordinator, Carlos Labrador, asserts that the Extremaduran Platform Men Against Gender-Based Violence has been created in order to carry out functions in support of raising awareness and educating people against gender-based cruelty.
The Platform seeks to bring together those who want to work for real and effective equality. In its presentation, the president of the Board said that laws and social commitment are needed.
