A positive day for Andalusian football teams
The challenging day turned out to be positive for Andalusian teams. Despite losing 4-1 in the Bernabéu Stadium, Sevilla remains the fourth team to qualify and will challenge the previous winner of the Champions. Málaga and Betis drew. Only Garnada went down, and are now the new bottom team.

In the Second Division, round day, Córdoba, UD, Almería and Sevilla Athlético all won. Cádiz drew in extra time and remain in the play-offs for promotion.
In Basketball, Betis Energía Plus lost in the regional derby against Unicaja, 98-89, and is being relegated to the LEB Oro Leaugue. Málaga remain in fourth and will take on Tenerife on Sunday in the fight for the title.
