The icing on the cake: historic victory at the Palau.

Iberostar Tenerife exceeded all the expectations once again, defeating Barcelona Lassa 65-73. Although they do not depend on themselves, Vidorreta¿s team could still be the top seeds in the play-off.

BARCELONA LASSA - IBEROSTAR TENERIFE

When it seemed like they should just settle for what they had achieved, there was still one more surprise in store. Their first win ever at the Palau. Iberostar Tenerife beat Barcelona Lassa 65-73, in what could be considered a dress rehearsal for the play-off.

With a clinic in passing and a master class in defence, the twenty-one assists were one of the highlights; keeping Barça to 65 points was another.

Despite playing without Abromaitis, Vidorreta¿s team proved that they are headed into the final stage just to take part.

The qualifiers for this season are over, but there are still challenges ahead: earning win number 22 on Sunday against Manresa, and then trying to win at last one of the first two play-off games, to play a "final" in the quarter finals, and play for forty minutes for a spot in the semifinals. With just one game left in the regular season, Unicaja Málaga look to be the rival to beat in the qualifier.
