A 25-year-old teacher has been arrested in Santa María de Guía, Gran Canaria, after being accused of several crimes against the freedom and sexual indemnity of underage students to whom he gave private lessons.

The Civil Guard opened the investigation after complaints were lodged by two of the victims.
