Eva María Pérez is running in the socialist primary elections
The socialist representative Eva María Pérez will run against Guillermo Fernández Vara for Secretary General of PSOE in Extremadura under the motto 'Take the floor', after announcing her intention to run in the political party's primary elections. She was the minister of Education under Rodríguez Ibarra and the same Fernández Vara.

Eva María Pérez will announce her pre-candidacy for the General Secretariat of PSOE in Extremadura this Saturday in Navaconcejo (Cáceres), for which there will be regional primary elections.
The Extremaduran PSOE convention will be held after the summer, and will be convened 60 days after the Federal Congress. Pérez aspires to lead the PSOE defending, she says, the right of activists to speak and be listened to.
