In Jerez, the engines are roaring on the ground and in the air. The Patrulla Águila (Eagle Patrol) accompanied the first 2,000 motorcyclists yesterday afternoon as they entered the city, coming together outside the circuit where the starting pistol kicked off the foremost motorcycling weekend in Spain. The motorcade then moved to the city centre where a very special welcome for the racers Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa took place.

Local government agencies, all very aware of the economic impact that the Grand Prix offers, foresee an optimistic outcome for this weekend.

Despite the precipitation during the first trainings on the circuit this morning, good weather is forecast beginning this afternoon. Therefore, everybody¿s ready to feel the rumbling from the motorcycles and to see the winners climb on to the podium at the world capital of motorcycle racing.
