Unemployment in Extremadura went down 4.25% in April
Extremadura gained 5,068 more employed people in April. The Service and Agriculture sectors are responsible for that improvement. Of course, of the more than 49,000 contracts signed, more than 47,000 were temporary. And of those temporary contracts, 50% were for no longer than 15 days.

Hiring went up 6.45% in April in Extremadura, leaving the total number of unemployed people at 114,304.
By sector, unemployment in Extremadura went down especially in the Service sector, with 2,952 fewer unemployed people, and in Agriculture, with 1,464 fewer unemployed. The unemployment rate also went down 4.46% in Construction and 3.69% in Industry.
