Miriam Casillas, bronze in the XTerra Greece Championship
The Badajoz athlete went back to competing in a spectacular way in the Greek Cross Triathlon, after deferring training for two months due to an Achilles tendon injury. Now, she's getting ready for the World Triathlon Series.

The Badajoz triathlete Miriam Casillas won the bronze medal in the XTerra Greece Championship, which is the fourth course on the European Tour. Her time was just over four minutes more than the winner, Helena Erbenova, and two minutes more than the second-place winner, Brigitta Poor.
It's the first Cross Triathlon for Casillas, and it's her first competition of the season, after suffering an Achilles tendon injury.
