Sevilla comfortably beat Granada in a regional derby. Ganso scored the two goals for the team from Seville, which is still looking to finish third. But Granada sinks to the bottom places of the table and has little chance of staying in first division.

Málaga beat Valencia 2-0, with goals from Recio and Sandro. The Andalusian team had a great match and is virtually assured of staying up.

Betis added its second consecutive victory after beating Celta 0-1 thanks to a goal by Brasanac. The green and whites are 14 points clear of relegation with just 15 to play for.

In second division, Cádiz drew one all against the leader Levante and is still in line for the promotion play off. Almería can take a deep breath after beating Sevilla Atlético 2-1 but is still in danger of relegation. Córdoba drew 1-1 with Mallorca and is still two points above relegation.

The basketball results were negative. Betis Energia Plus lost 85-90 against Valencia Basket and is going to have a hard time remaining in the ACB. Meanwhile, Unicaja was beat 89-70 by Barcelona but is still ensured a place to fight for the league title.
