The sailor from the Real Gran Canaria Yacht Club, Samuel Beneyto, finishes as runner-up of the Spanish Cup in the optimist class, after finishing just four points behind the champion, Maria Perelló, from the Balearic Islands.
Beneyto finished in second place in the general classification as well as in first place in the men¿s senior category.
