Piedraescrita and the Day of Light on Easter Monday
Easter Monday is synonymous with festivities in many parts of Extremadura. Two of these festivities, one in the province of Cáceres and another in the province of Badajoz, are considered festivities of Regional Touristic Interest. They are the Pilgrimage of Piedraescrita in Campanario, and the Day of Light in Arroyo de la Luz, where an accident has left a woman with severe injuries.
