San Telmo Park in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will play host to the exhibition "El Ártico se rompe". A collection of more than one hundred of photographs are on exhibit in a large marquee that recreates the Arctic's icy atmosphere.
Just by entering this marquee we can learn something new about one of the influential areas for regulating the Planet's climate. We¿ll see that -60ºC in the height of the winter can go up to -2º if we take shelter in an igloo, covered by ice. And we will discover its fauna, which includes much more than just the classic polar bear.
"El Ártico se rompe¿ stresses the importance of fighting against global warming and shows us how in 50 years¿ time the layer of ice in the North Pole will disappear over summer.
