Verónica Chumillas Martínez
All Ryanair aeroplanes in southern Europe needing repaired will go to Seville. The new maintenance centre will be ready in 2018 and will involve an investment of 8 million euros. It will be located in La Rinconada. The neighbours have received the news with great satisfaction as, first and foremost, it will see the creation of 140 direct jobs.
The company is looking for engineers, hangar technicians, mechanics and office staff. Ultimately, the Ryanair workshop in Seville could lead to up to 800 new jobs. The Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs are happy with the agreement and with the creation of new jobs in Seville. The company aims on starting the construction work before the summer.
