Testamento Malvasía Esencia, with Denomination of Origin in Abona, has been chosen as the best Wine in the Canary Islands for 2017. It is the first prize-winner in the Official Agro-Canarian Competition prizes.

The Canary Islands have chosen the best wine for 2017. The Testamento Malvasía Esencia, with Denomination of Origin in Abona. Ironically, this year the wine producer obtained its worst harvest over the past twenty years, losing 50% of its production. Nature, however, has managed to make up for it.
29 other wines from the islands have also received recognition in the Official Agro-Canarian Competition.
