Extremadura ends March with 3.437 fewer unemployed workers
The number of registered unemployed persons in the Extremaduran Public Employment Service (Sexpe) has recorded a 2.8% decrease in March with respect to the previous month, so that there remain 119.372 registered jobseekers.

March has been a historical month for job creation in Spain, one that saw all Autonomous Communities -with the exception of the Canary Islands-, as having fewer registered unemployed workers.
In the case of Extremadura, the decrease during March means that in the last twelve months the number of registered jobseekers in the Sexpe has dropped by 10.665, which represents an 8.2% drop in unemployment from March of 2016.
