Tragic work accident in Telde
A 34-year-old man died after failing to overcome the serious injuries he sustained from the excavator with which he worked. The police and work inspection are investigating the causes of the incident.

The 34-year-old man was working on a small construction job. He stood in front of a companion who was trying to level a lot with the backhoe. But the ground gave way and the machine overturned, trapping him.
A helicopter from the Canary Emergency Services went to his rescue. He was transferred to hospital quickly, but his injuries were so severe that nothing could be done for him.
