Railway pact: Commitments from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport are insufficient
This morning, members of the Railway Pact met in the headquarters of the President of the regional government, and have agreed, with exception to Podemos, that work is advancing on the high-speed railway following the visit from the Public Works and Transport minister. Unions, management and political groups need economic commitments from the central government to electrify the lines that will join the region with Madrid and with Puertollano.

The adviser for the Environment and Rural affairs, Begoña García, has highlighted that this forum has served to speed up the work on the high-speed line.
"Of the 26 construction contracts for the platform between Plasencia and Badajoz that were blocked or experiencing problems, at present, there are 25 in progress and the other is in the process of being resolved with the company".
