Controversy due to museums closing on bank holiday Mondays
In spite of the increase in visitors during the San José bank holiday weekend, museums such as the National Museum of Roman Art or that of Cáceres did not open on the Monday. PSOE as well as PP and Ciudadanos believe it is "a huge mistake".

Whether owned by the State, Autonomous Community or the Regional Governments, most public museums close on Mondays. They therefore do not cater to the influx of tourists during bank holiday weekends.
In the Assembly, three parliamentary groups (PSOE, PP and Ciudadanos) agreed this Tuesday that it is a "huge mistake".
