Disappointment for Javier Cienfuegos in the European Throwing Cup in Las Palmas, where he arrived being third in Europe in the year and was only able to come eleventh overall. The Frenchman Quentin Bigot won, with a better throw of 76.55 metres.
Cienfuegos admits that he had the chance to win the medals and to beat his own record for Spain: a very good start to the season, a European on the Lucky Islands and accompanied by his trainer, Antonio Fuentes.
