South-eastern European Logistics Platform works to start shortly
This Tuesday, the Board of Extremadura has passed the amendment of the Badajoz Logistic Platform at the value of 869.591 euros. The works will urbanise the first phase of the 60 hectares. It is a necessary requirement according to the Minister of the Region, Begoña García Bernal, in order for the works to have all the guarantees.

The extension of the budget, authorised by the Board, will be allocated to the sewage network, to the crossing of the installation under the railway, to the platform's power network and to areas relating to the gas project - aspects that were not contemplated when the previous Executive put the project up for tender. Almost 870.000 euros -a total of 12,5 million counting the figure allocated to infrastructures- were granted, enabling the works to begin.
The Minister of the Region explains that, without these additional funds, the project would not have been able to start "as the preliminary plan was not well drafted".
