Bullfighting season kicks off with the start of the Olivenza Fair
Talks, photographic exhibitions, musical performances and exhibitions are part of the programming concurrent to the bullfighting festivities, which include two bullfights featuring young matadors and others featuring the great names of bullfighting, as well as the return of Antonio Ferrera, the matador from Extremadura.

For three days, Olivenza will be the Mecca for bullfighting fans from all over Spain whose first meeting point will be the exhibitions tent: 2.500 square metres featuring a hundred exhibitors whose products and services are all related the world of bulls.
This small border city expects to receive between 70.000 and 80.000 visitors throughout the weekend, and hotel occupancy has already reached maximum capacity, in addition to a further 70% in the capital, Badajoz.
Featured matadors are El Juli, Alejandro Talavante, Roca Rey and Ginés Marín, as well as José María Manzanares, Morante de la Puebla, Miguel Ángel Perera and Antonio Ferrera, who makes his return to the bullrings.
