More than 20 people were arrested this weekend in Tenerife in an operation by the National Police.
The operation targeted clandestine dog fights, and is ongoing throughout Spain.

An organisation running dog fights has been taken down.
More than 20 people were arrested this weekend in Tenerife in a raid by the National Police.
The persons under arrest had rented a country house in Güimar to hold the fights. Police agents rescued about twenty dogs, some with severe injuries.
