Unanimous agreement at the Assembly in Extremadura that children can attend concerts
The Assembly of Extremadura unanimously approved today the modification of an article in the regional Law of Communal Life and Leisure and another in the Law of Prevention Measures and Control regarding the sale and promotion of alcoholic beverages, so children can go into establishments where musical events are taking place.

The new regulation imposes requirements on the entry of children into musical establishments, as those younger than 16 years old will be able to go in as long as they are accompanied by parents, and those older than 16 can go in as long as alcoholic drinks and their promotion are withdrawn and the event does not end later than 23:30 hours.
The initiative to modify the current legislation comes on the part of the political group Podemos, who have done so via the Platform 'Minors in concert'. In the last few months, the parliamentary groups have worked on the issue.
