Iberostar Tenerife has not gone to Vitoria to pass the time. Vidorreta's team is making its debut in the most televised event in Spanish basketball hoping to give everyone a surprise.
Its history, its budget, and its role as the host make Baskonia the favourite, but the Tenerife team will try to defy the predictions, as it already did in the Endesa League match three months ago.
Richotti has recovered from his injury and will join the challenge, overshadowed by the memory of the 2014 game in Málaga, when Iberostar Tenerife suffered the biggest defeat in the history of the tournament. But the captain is sure that this time the team is going to rise to the occasion.
