The wind is knocking down trees and street lamps
The Grand Canary Islands Council this Sunday has called for citizens to avoid driving on the roads of the island¿mainly those in the centre and in the north¿due to the wind hazard and the number of registered incidents.

The Grand Canary Islands Council has called for citizens not to circulate on the roads of the Island¿mainly those in the centre and in the north¿due to the hazard of winds blowing up to 140 kilometres per hour causing a number of incidents with street lamps, branches and other blockages that continue to fall.
