Listening to music with your heart
The Mahler Chamber Orchestra will be opening the 33rd Canarian Music Festival on 7th January in Tenerife Auditorium. They will carry out an activity with hearing-impaired children. The aim of the activity is for the children to feel the music with their hearts.

The Mahl er Orchestra has taken on the challenge of conveying the heart of music to children with hearing impairments.
The conductor explained the different types of instruments to children along with their unique sounds. Then he explained how to wave a baton for a quieter or louder sound. The children tried it out and their experience was met with rounds of applause.
