Exhibition commemorating 20th anniversary of Monumental City of Mérida Consortium
The sample comprises the projects, methods and main archaeological findings that the Consortium has promoted since it was established in 1996. It can be seen in the Decumanus room in the capital of Extremadura. Both the Board of Extremadura and town hall of the city support the conservation and touristic promotion of the main heritage sites.

The exhibition held in the Decumanus room shows a brief overview of the history of the Consortium of the Monumental City of Mérida. An institution that welcomes 400,000 tourists every year. The exhibition includes various informative panels, audio-visual messages and interactive screens. During the opening, the President of Extremadura, Fernández Vara stressed that everything promoted by the Consortium will generate new employment niches in the future.
