Marc Crosas has kept his promise. The Tenerife player had put a price on his beard: 250 thousand Mexican pesos; about 11,500 euros. He was willing to shave, after three years of letting his beard grow, if he reached his goal. His challenge was to raise that amount to help children with cancer in Guadalajara, Mexico. Although he did not reach that figure, he managed to raise 167 thousand pesos, about 8 thousand euros, so shaved off his beard anyway. He did it live in a video broadcast on Periscope, to show his thanks to everyone who collaborated by donating. A sacrifice for a good cause. He looks different with his new look, but the change is for a good reason.
