A step backwards in equality
Gender violence among young people is growing.
In the Canary Islands, there has been a 35% increase in the number of girls under 18 reporting abuse by their partners.

Although 97% of young people say they oppose gender violence, the number of girls reporting abuse increased in 2015.
"Stop ugly situations. Say no to violence against women", is the Canarian Institute of Equality¿s campaign to raise awareness among young people of the early stages of abuse.
