800 black merino sheeps have passed through the Real Segoviana route, in the Fifth Transhumance Route, in search of fresh pastures for grazing during the winter. The route from Tamurejo to Siruela is 10 kilometres long, because this type of journey never exceeds 100 kilometres.
Siruela has been the migration's winter capital since 1500, appointed by the sheep ranchers Council of the Mesta.
