Supposed case of sexual abuse among minors in Badajoz
Five young people from the San Juan Bautista Youth Refuge Centre in Badajoz have reported two of their peers for supposed sexual abuse. One of the accused has run away and the other has been transferred to the Marcelo Nessi Juvenile Detention Centre.

The Regional Government of Extremadura has confirmed the reports and the search opened to find the youth who has escaped. They also ask to respect the presumption of innocence of the youths.
They have also stated that the parents of one of the supposed victims has requested the Government to grant them guardianship again, although they recognise that recurring to that would "be illegal".
