More resources for the Health Service, but still not enough
The budget allocated by the Canary Islands' Ministry of Health for 2017 totals 2.704 billion euros, up 2.8% from this year.

The opposing groups in the Parliament of the Canary Islands have predicted today that, with regards to health, there will be a deviation of around 200 million euros next year; claiming that the budgets allocated in this area for 2017 are not enough.
The Counsellor for Health, Jesús Morera agreed with the MPs that the budget is not enough but insisted that they are "moving in the right direction".
