111 million euros for improving the economy and employment in municipalities
The Regional Government of Extremadura and the 24 local action groups in the region will sign the agreement and, from then onwards, start attending the rounds to participate in investment activities that will contribute to improving the economy and employment in those areas.

The agreement affects 384 localities, which represent 68 percent of the population of Extremadura. A total of 111 million euros will be allocated for developing the projects, meaning that it will be one of the biggest investments ever made in Rural Development by this legislature, according to the Agricultural Policy adviser.
