Master Chef cooks in La Palma
Rocío Morcillo, one of the finalists of the Spanish Television show "Master Chef", is on the island of La Palma enjoying one of the prizes that she was awarded during her time in the popular competition.
The chef from Barcelona says that she is enjoying her stay on the island, as well as the gastronomic offer in La Palma.

Besides from offering her an incredible experience and the opportunity of fame, Rocío Morcillo¿s time on the show "Master Chef" has given her the chance to visit the island of La Palma.
We met her in the saltworks area of Fuencaliente, an enclave where beautiful landscape, nature, tradition and flavour all come together. Rocío got to see the authentic gem of these saltmines, "Fleur de sel", and stressed the uniqueness of the gastronomy in La Palma, especially in terms of sea products.
Rocío also shared the kitchen with the chef from the "El Jardín de la Sal¿ restaurant, Juan Carlos Rodriguez Cruz. She helped him prepare one of the desserts from the menu, an appetising "goat's milk foam yoghurt with papaya jam and a touch of fleur de sel".
