New sailing success for the Canary Islands
Competitors from the Gran Canaria Yacht Club are champions in the laser and RSX classes. The championships were celebrated this weekend in Salou, Murcia and Alicante.

The Canarian competitors achieved yet more success at national level during the championships this weekend. Olympian Joaquín Blanco won the standard laser class, while Joel Rodríguez came first in the under-21 laser standard, Martina Reino in the under-21 laser radial, and Carlota Sánchez in the women¿s under-19 and under-17 laser radial. Regattas held in Salou.
In the Mar Menor, Murcia, Magui Suárez won the under-19s RSX class. And in the Fortinaiter class, in Torrevieja, Andrés Barrio and Nestor Domingo Vega were runners-up in the under-19 category.
