Over 200 families are street vendors, and for years have spent their Sundays in Santa Cruz street market next to the city¿s main market in Tenerife. It has always been a major point of attraction, with over 700 stalls that have become a key meeting point for many people in Tenerife¿s capital.
The group accuses La Laguna¿s town council of failure to set up a market on Saturdays, which they unanimously agreed to a year and a half ago, but have yet to establish.
