For several minutes the occurrence turned into a "street" fight, resulting in four players being sent off.

In terms of the match, Las Palmas took the lead in the third minute, with Míchel Macedo scoring a goal. Both teams performed well, up until the row in the sixtieth minute. Tenerife kept playing with ten players, and the Sport Union with eight, but Martí's team was not able to take advantage of their lead in numbers, and the result remained the same until the end.
