Troy beach 1 reopens for swimming after pollution detected in the water

After being closed for swimming for almost a week due to containing high levels of the bacterium E. coli, Troy beach, one of the busiest in southern Tenerife, has just reopened.The most recent analyses were pending, that now show that the water quality is good and it can be reopened to the public.Now the possible cause of the contamination is being investigated, which is as of yet unknown.The beach that will remain closed a few days longer is Puertito de Adeje beach, due to the accidental breaking of a wastewater pipeline during routine works.
