"Rigoletto" arrives to the Temudas Fest
Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi is taking to Santa Ana Square in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with a street version of the French company Les Grooms.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria takes the opera outdoors as part of the Temudas Fest festival. The French company Les Grooms has transformed Verdi's renowned opera "Rigoletto" into a performance that uses Santa Ana Square as a stage. Yesterday we were able to enjoy it, and tonight there will be another performance of this show which brings together the arias of several operas. The Temudas Theatre, Music and Dance Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and this year it is focusing mainly on Canarian productions (the biggest ever), using the historic centre of Vegueta as a big performance area. One of the main acts will be this Saturday with the TVE cameras as witnesses: the concert given by the Philharmonic Orchestra in the Container Terminal of El Muelle de la Luz. From this atypical stage, Nancy Fabiola will perform Carmen by Bizet.
