Sanfermines (Running of the Bulls)

TVE deploys a team of almost 80 people and 25 cameras in order capture every moment of the bullfighting event.
This run of somewhat more than 800 meters in length through the old quarter of Pamplona attracts thousands of visitors to Sanfermines every year from all over the world. The purpose of the run is to lead the bulls from the corrals outside the Old Quarter to the Bullring, where they will rest until the bullfighters take them to task in the afternoon.
The "mozos" (bull runners), dressed in white with red neck-scarves, run in front of a series of bulls from a certain fighting bull ranch.
TVE markets its coverage of the Sanfermines and all its different events: El Chupinazo (inaugural rocket) and El Encierro (Bull Run), replete with a build-up program and a follow-up program and summaries of previous years.
