Eslovenia apuesta por el grupo de Indie pop Maraaya para Eurovisión

Eurovisión 2015 - Eslovenia: Marayaa - "Here for you"

Eslovenia nunca ha pasado de la séptima posición en Eurovisión. Este año, el grupo de Indie pop Maraaya tratará de quedar por encima de ese puesto con la canción Here For You (Aquí para ti).

Maraaya, una banda diferente

Marjetka y Raay forman MARAAYA, una banda de Indie pop en la que ella canta y él compone. Casados desde hace años, actualmente trabajan en su primer álbum de estudio, que podría salir a la venta antes de que se suban al Wiener Stadthalle. El primer single se llamarán Lovin’ Me.

La banda, formada por Marjetka, vocalista, y Raay, compositor, ganó la última edición del Evrovizijska melodija (EMA), el show que organiza la televisión nacional para elegir al representante de Elovenia en Eurovisión. En la final, tuvieron que competir contra otros 7 artistas. Tras dos rondas de votaciones, Maraaya obtuvo su billete para Viena, donde estará en la segunda semifinal, el 21 de mayo.
