Senit representará a San Marino en Eurovisión
La cantante Senit será la encargada de defender a San Marino en Eurovisión 2011 con la balada "Stand by".
Senit Zadik es una cantante de origen eritreo nacida en la ciudad de Bolonia. Comenzó su carrera musical en el año 1999, y desde entonces ha conseguido un gran reconocimiento dentro de la escena R'n'B internacional.
Además, la representante de San Marino ha participado en la versión alemana del musical El rey León y ha publicado varios discos en solitario.
San Marino tan solo ha participado en Eurovisión en una ocasión. Fue en el año 2008 y su representante fue Miodo, un grupo integrado por jóvenes nacidos en esta pequeña república de la península itálica. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión la cadena pública del país, la SRMTV, ha seguido la estela de países como Luxemburgo y Mónaco, que obtuvieron sus mejores puestos con estrellas conocidas internacionalmente.
