Alison Hughes talks with Juan Manuel Pérez, a research specialist at the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. and a historian. Juan Manuel Pérez is the author of the book "Los trabajadores gallegos en la construcción del canal de Panamá", about Galician workers on the Panama Canal between 1905 and 1914 and spoke about the 12 thousand Spaniards who helped to build what has been called the one of the "wonders of the world". Mr. Pérez also described some of the items in the collection at the Hispanic Division in Washington, including some 125 posters from the Spanish Civil War and first editions of Don Quijote.
