In & Around Spain

The focus this week is the new double album by Spanish bluesman and harmonica virtuoso Ñaco Goñi, "Blues con los Colegas" (blues with my buddies) on which this veteran figure on Spain's blues scene performs with no fewer than 63 musician friends. Ñaco presented the album this past May 13th during the jam session he runs with his friend Xulián Freire at the Bodega del Águila in Madrid (www.bodegadelaguila.tk). The new album follows a first volume of "Blues con los Colegas" released six years ago. Ñaco has a myspace under his name spelt without any "ñ," so nacogoni (15/05/12).
