Frank Smith talks to Charles Powell, historian and author of a new book entitled El Amigo Americano, The American Friend, a study of relations between Spain and the United States during Spain's years of transition from dictatorship to democracy. Dr. Powell is professor of history at San Pablo University in Madrid, director of the Democratic Transition Foundation, and deputy director for research of the Elcano Royal Institute for International Research
