'Adiós' to Dr. John

Renowned New Orleans pianist, singer and showman Dr. John was loved by many music fans in Spain and visited the country on a number of occasions over the years. Justin Coe caught several of his performances in Madrid and remembers the Doctor, a colorful figure whose real name was Malcolm John Rebennack, Jr. and who passed away on June 6th at the age of 77.
